Which means of payment are accepted by Hermes.com?
You can only pay for your purchases with a credit or charge card: MasterCard®, Visa®, American Express®. You should enter your credit card or charge card number, its expiry date and its card verification number on the relevant page. Moreover, depending on your card type, the 3DSecure system will authenticate and secure the transaction and will then ask you for a unique code in order to finalise your order. Alternatively, you can pay with PayPal.
How can I pay with PayPal?
You can pay for your purchases online with PayPal.
When completing your order, you will be automatically redirected to the PayPal website to log in to your account. If you do not have a PayPal account, you will be able to create one.
After the validation/payment of your order with PayPal, you will be redirected to the order confirmation page on Hermes.com.
Your order will be dispatched upon validation and reception of your PayPal transfer. Additional delivery time may be required for orders completed using PayPal.
Is my payment secure?
All the transactions made on the Hermes.com website are secure. The padlock symbol next to the address bar of the page beginning with "https" indicates that you are in a secure setting.
We also offer the added security of the 3DSecure system for payments made by Visa®, Mastercard® and American Express® cards equipped with this technology, using "Verified by Visa®", "MasterCard® SecureCode" and "American Express SafeKey®" respectively. HERMÈS INTERNATIONAL has also established specific security measures to protect your personal information from non-authorised access and use. However, you should never consider the transmission of data by Internet to be 100% secure. Any information that you make available on line can potentially be recuperated and used by third parties.
What is 3D Secure? How can I proceed with a payment using 3D Secure?
Payments are authenticated and secured thanks to the 3D secure system. This device is also known under the names of "Verified by Visa®", "MasterCard® SecureCode" or "American Express SafeKey®. During payment, the bank asks the Internet user personal information to check the identity of the card holder and to validate the transaction.
To pay with 3D Secure on Hermes.com:
After validation of your bank details (card number, expiry date and card verification number), a new page will be displayed on which you have to key in the personal information requested by your bank. This information can be:
- the answer to a personal question,
- a password you have previously chosen,
- a code sent by SMS,
- your date of birth...
Once the 3D Secure code keyed in and validated by your bank, your order is finalised. You will then receive a confirmation email.
Authentication is peculiar to each bank. For any questions concerning your 3D Secure code, please contact your bank directly.
Do you accept international credit cards? Do you ship internationally?
We accept international credit cards; however, when placing your order, you must enter the international billing address that is linked to your credit card.
When will my credit card be debited?
Cards and other payment methods are not debited until an order has been accepted and sent. However, it is possible that your credit card or other payment method may indicate a reserve amount as soon as the order is placed.
